Is Your Gymnast Ready for the Next Step?
If your child loves gymnastics and is ready to grow, learn, and be challenged, our 2026 Team Tryouts are the perfect opportunity to take that next step.
Whether they’re new to Influence Gymnastics or already part of our community, tryouts are designed to evaluate each gymnast’s skills, strength, flexibility, and coachability—and to find the right pathway for their development.
Spots are limited – early registration recommended
Tryout Details
- Date: May 23, 2026
- Time: 12:00PM – 1:30PM
- Cost: $20 (due at registration)
- Ages: 3–17
- Open to: Current & new families
What to Expect at The Tryout
Your gymnast will rotate through events where our coaches will assess:
- Current skill level
- Strength and flexibility
- Attitude and coachability
- Safety awareness
We’re not just looking at what they can do now – but how they learn, respond, and grow.
Team Pathways Available
Following tryouts, gymnasts may be placed into one of our programmes:
Developmental (Pre-Team)
A foundation for younger athletes (ages 3–6), building structure, discipline, and readiness for competition.
Junior Olympic (JO)
A progressive competitive programme (Levels 2–10) following USA Gymnastics pathways.
Xcel Programme
A flexible competitive option for gymnasts who love the sport while balancing other activities.
Understanding the Commitment
Team gymnastics is a year-round sport
As athletes progress, so does the level of commitment required.
